About Furniture4Free
Furniture4Free provides an online marketplace where people in the UK can discover furniture, create listings and contact other members. Furniture4Free is a platform for arranging handovers between members; each member is responsible for the accuracy of their listing and the arrangements they make with another member.
Your account
Keep your sign-in details secure and provide accurate information. You are responsible for activity carried out through your account. Contact us through the service if you believe someone else has accessed it.
Listings and member conduct
Only list furniture you are entitled to give away or sell. Describe its condition, dimensions and collection or delivery arrangements honestly. Do not post unlawful, unsafe, misleading or infringing content, or use the marketplace to harass or defraud another person.
We may review, restrict or remove content or accounts where we reasonably believe they breach these terms, our safety requirements or applicable law.
Free items, paid services and bookings
Furniture listings may be offered free or at a stated sale price. Any optional promoted listing or delivery charge must be shown before payment is confirmed. The applicable booking, cancellation and refund information will be shown during checkout and in the booking details.
Payments are processed by the payment provider shown at checkout. Furniture4Free does not promise a particular payout time. Where a transaction involves a member-to-member sale, both members remain responsible for following the displayed order and fulfilment terms.
Safety and handovers
Use private messaging to agree collection details. Exact addresses and private contact information should only be shared when needed for an agreed handover or booking. Check an item and the arrangements before collecting it.
Changes and contact
We may update the service and these terms as the marketplace develops. We will publish revised terms here. Questions about a listing can be sent to its member through private messages. Central support details will be added before public launch.
